Transport Ireland, now in its fourth year, has firmly established itself as the annual conference event for Ireland's transport sector, north and south. The 2011 conference will once again bring together all the key players, both from within the local transport sector and those from further afield. It provides a unique opportunity for all those operating within the sector to come together for valuable business networking and discussion.
This year's Transport Ireland® conference takes as its theme 'Exploring the new political and economic climate' and will examine this theme by way of an expert panel of local and visiting speakers. Whereas in previous years the focus may have been on major transport infrastructure investment, the 2011 conference will instead look at issues including how to maximize the efficiency from existing transport networks.
Featured speakers include:
| Leo Varadkar Minister for Transport |
Gerry Murphy Chief Executive National Transport Authority |
||
| Peter Mackie Institute for Transport Studies University of Leeds |
